1. Eligibility

You must be at least 18 years of age to purchase independently. Users under 18 may purchase only with the explicit consent and involvement of a parent or legal guardian. MCAKey assumes no liability for purchases made by minors. The parent or guardian accepts full responsibility for all activity and purchases made under their supervision. By placing an order, you confirm you meet these requirements.

2. Products & Digital Nature

MCAKey sells digital software license keys delivered electronically by email. No physical items are shipped. Keys sold by MCAKey are genuine and sourced through authorized channels. Each key activates through the software publisher's own servers.

You are purchasing a license to use the software under the terms set by the software publisher (e.g., Microsoft). Any restrictions on use — number of devices, commercial vs. personal use, geographic limitations — are set by the publisher and are your responsibility to review before purchasing.

3. Orders & Payment

3.1 Order Confirmation

Placing an order constitutes an offer to purchase. Your order is accepted when you receive an order confirmation email. We reserve the right to cancel any order at our discretion — for example, in cases of suspected fraud or pricing errors. Any payment received will be fully refunded in such cases.

3.2 Pricing

Prices are displayed exclusive of VAT unless otherwise stated. Applicable taxes are calculated at checkout. Prices are subject to change without notice. The price shown when you complete your order is the price you pay.

3.3 Payment

We accept PayPal and cryptocurrency. Additional methods may be added over time. MCAKey does not store payment card details.

3.4 Currency

Orders can be placed in USD, EUR, or GBP. Currency conversion is applied at the exchange rate displayed at the time of your order.

4. Delivery

License keys are delivered to the email address provided at checkout. MCAKey targets delivery within 15 minutes of payment confirmation, with a maximum expected time of 2 hours. You are responsible for providing a correct and functioning email address. If delivery is not completed within 48 hours, you are entitled to a full refund under our Refund Policy.

5. Refunds & Replacements

We do not offer refunds on delivered keys. A full refund is available only where delivery was not completed within 48 hours. If a delivered key does not function correctly, we will replace it provided the issue is reported within 7 days. By purchasing, you explicitly consent to immediate delivery of digital content and acknowledge this waives your right of withdrawal where applicable under EU consumer law. 6. Consulting Services

6.1 Free vs. Paid

Straightforward licensing questions are typically answered free of charge. More involved engagements may be offered for a fee, with scope and cost agreed in writing before work begins.

6.2 Non-Refundable Fees

Fees paid for consulting are non-refundable once the work has been delivered, regardless of whether the client agrees with the outcome, proceeds with a purchase, or attends a scheduled session.

6.3 No-Show Policy

If a client schedules a paid session and fails to attend without at least 24 hours' notice, the session fee is forfeited. Rescheduling is at MCAKey's discretion.

6.4 Scope of Advice

Consulting reflects our understanding of Microsoft licensing at the time of the engagement. Licensing terms change. MCAKey does not guarantee advice remains accurate beyond the date of delivery. Consulting is informational — it does not constitute legal advice.

7. Acceptable Use

You agree not to purchase keys for resale without our prior written agreement, use our website for fraudulent or illegal purposes, attempt to circumvent security measures, submit false information during checkout or support, or use keys in violation of the publisher's end-user license agreement. We reserve the right to cancel orders, suspend accounts, and refuse service to any user who violates these terms.

8. Intellectual Property

All content on mcakey.com — text, images, logos, product descriptions, and site design — is the property of MCAKey LLC or its licensors. You may not reproduce or use any content for commercial purposes without prior written permission. Microsoft, Windows, Office, and other product names are trademarks of Microsoft Corporation. MCAKey is an authorized reseller and makes no claim of ownership over these trademarks.

9. Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, MCAKey shall not be liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of our products or services. Our total liability for any claim shall not exceed the amount you paid for the specific product giving rise to the claim. Nothing in these terms limits liability that cannot be excluded by law.

10. Disclaimer of Warranties

Our products and services are provided "as is." MCAKey does not warrant that the website will be uninterrupted or that keys will be compatible with every hardware configuration. We do warrant that every key we sell is genuine and has not been previously activated at the time of delivery. If a key fails this standard, we replace it.

11. Governing Law & Disputes

These terms of service are governed by the laws of the State of Montana, United States. Any dispute shall first be attempted to be resolved informally by contacting [email protected]. If informal resolution fails, disputes shall be subject to the jurisdiction of the courts of the State of Montana. EU and UK consumers retain the benefit of mandatory consumer protection provisions of their local law. EU consumers may also use the European Commission's Online Dispute Resolution platform.

12. Changes to These Terms

MCAKey reserves the right to update these terms of service at any time. Changes will be published on this page with a revised date. Continued use of our website constitutes acceptance of updated terms.
