Step-by-step activation guide
Activate RDS CALs
- Open Server Manager on your Windows Server 2022.
- Go to Remote Desktop Services → Overview → RD Licensing Manager.
- Right-click your server name and select Activate Server.
- Complete the activation using Automatic Connection or Web Browser.
- Once activated, right-click the server again and choose Install Licenses.
- Select the license program: “License Pack (Retail Purchase)”.
- Enter the 50 Device CALs key provided and finalize the activation.
